A balance board, says Wikipedia, is a device used as a circus skill, for recreation, balance training, athletic training, brain development, therapy, musical training and other kinds of personal development.
I recently began using an Indo Board after reading about the benefits that flow researcher Steven Kotler has found from using one.
I’ve found it to be a great part of my daily workout. Plus, I hate to sit still, so I’ll sometimes use it while I’m reading or talking on the phone.
And I’m hoping that developing my physical balance will not only help me age gracefully, but also (somehow) extend to my mental and emotional balance as well.
At any rate, I find standing on an Indo Board to be FUN!
