It’s great to think before doing/trying when all the information required to solve the problem is already present. … Real problems never have all the data known ahead of time. In the process of getting into action sooner you more quickly move from the partial data that you have at the outset to a more robust understanding of the variables at play. People that have been well steeped in traditional education tend to spin their wheels endlessly on the partial data looking for the “1 right answer.” But I like to say that a 100% optimization/solve on 25% of the variables is far worse than a 50% solve on 80% of the variables. So get into doing so you can see the rest of the variables sooner.
