You can’t see the whole sky through a bamboo tube.

Find some great cause and some great purpose, some loyalty to which you can give yourself and become so absorbed in that something that you give your life to it.

Each moment is all being, each moment is the entire world. Reflect now whether any being or any world is left out of the present moment.

Happiness lies in thinking about what God has given us.

By turning your attention to what you already possess, what is already here, and who you already are, you will be able to replace your “not enough” attitude with a sense of acceptance, satisfaction, and contentment.

The only true voyage, the only bath in the Fountain of Youth, would be not to visit strange lands but to possess other eyes, to see the universe through the eyes of another, of a hundred others, to see the hundred universes that each of them sees, that each of them is.

The first step toward enlightenment is to learn to follow the conscience and not the mind.

May I recommend serenity to you? A life that is burdened with expectations is a heavy life. Its fruit is sorrow and disappointment. Learn to be one with the joy of the moment.
