Four Reasons to Have a Coach
100 Words to:
Know the Meaning of Your Name
Nothing influences your behavior more than your self-image. Willpower and rational thought don’t even come close.
One way to adopt a more empowering self-image is to find empowering meaning in your name. You can learn a lot, of course, from a Google search about the origin and meaning of your name.
If the people who gave you your name are still alive, ask them why they named you what they did. You might think you know, but you also might be surprised.
As with everything in life, take what works and leave the rest.
Four Reasons to Have a Coach
1. It demonstrates – in a way that talking never could – that you believe in the value of coaching. This gives you greater credibility, and it’s something to include in your sales conversations. (“The top performers in every field have coaches.”)
2. Coaching can help you be the best version of yourself, which means that you’ll show up for your clients as the best coach you can be.
3. It gives you the opportunity to learn techniques and approaches to use with your own clients.
4. You’ll learn things to avoid with your own clients.
How to Generate More and Better Marketing Ideas Faster (Eventually)
Being an effective marketer doesn’t happen overnight—it’s a process.
That’s why if you don’t already have a swipe file, which Wikipedia explains as “a collection of tested and proven advertising,” it might be good for you to start your own today.
When you find an interesting website or effective piece of marketing, take a photo or screen capture and add it to your swipe file.
Then, when it’s time to create your own webpage, email newsletter, blog post or campaign, open your swipe file for inspiration (not to plagiarize).
