Don’t misdirect your effort by chasing around looking for something outside yourself.

Whatever bright solutions or big plans you come up with, just let them go, let them go, let them go.

Hope and fear are both phantoms that arise from thinking of the self. When we don’t see the self as self, what do we have to fear?

Listen to all, but follow one. Respect all, but adore one. Gather knowledge from all, but adopt the teachings of one Master. Then you will have rapid spiritual progress.

Look within. / Be still. / Free from fear and attachment, / Know the sweet joy of the way.

You don’t have to die; heaven and hell are in this world too.

Grace is always present. You imagine it as something high in the sky, far away, something that has to descend. It is really inside you, in your heart.

The way to do is to be.

Engage yourself in the living present. The future will take care of itself.

I say unto you that suffering is not holding you, you are holding suffering.

Wander where there is no path. Be all that heaven gave you, but act as though you have received nothing. Be empty, that is all.

Our true nature is bliss.

The inspiration you seek is already within you. Be silent and listen.

The light within us is there as a potential. The darkness within us is there as a potential. Beyond light and darkness is the Reality that we are.

The sum total is, whatever experiences you have, whether for a day or for years, it is all an illusion.

I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides. I honor the place of love, of light, of truth, of peace. I honor the place within you where if you are in that place in you, I am in that place in me; there is only one of us.

The empty mind—the pure mind—is not a blank, zero land, where you’re not feeling or caring about anything…. It’s a brightness that is truly sensitive and accepting. It’s an ability to accept life as it is.

The good man does not use others as a tool.

The idea is to just stop. Just wait. Don’t react. Therein lies the whole universe. Just don’t react.
